So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen...

6/19/16
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight...

Today was my farewell! Which basically consisted of non-stop ugly crying for an hour and a half haha. It was great. Saying goodbye to my sister Marissa was by far the hardest part. Goodbyes are hard, but I feel comfort with the knowledge that they will be blessed as I serve!

Playing "Redeemer" for the last time in the foothills ward was incredibly difficult. I was so emotional my hands were shaking the entire time. But I feel at home when I play piano. I never feel like I'm the most eloquent speaker, so when I give a talk or bear my testimony I always feel like I never expressed in the right words what I was trying to say. When I play piano, I feel like I can finally convey my feelings and my testimony. I can just lose myself in the music. Other than being in the temple, it's when I feel closest to my Heavenly Father.

I'm being set apart tonight at 8:30, and I'll leave to drive up to Provo with my mother tomorrow morning. I can't wait to serve the Lord!

Love,
soon-to-be Sister Fisher
